Arthur B. Metzner Award is bestowed upon an individual who has distinguished themselves in rheological research, rheological practice, or service to rheology. Deadline: February 27, 2026
SoR Fellowship recognizes a history of distinguished scientific achievement, a significant technological accomplishment, and/or outstanding scholarship in the field of rheology. Service to the Society is also an important component to Fellowship status. Deadline: March 13, 2026
We welcome applications from the full diversity represented in The Society of Rheology Membership. The awards will be bestowed at the 79th annual SoR Meeting, October 25-29, 2026, in Boston, MA.

10th International Soft Matter Conference (ISMC)
This is a final reminder about the approaching extended deadline ( 15-January -2025), for the submission of abstracts, of the 10th International Soft Matter Conference (ISMC) 2026, that will be held in Goa, BITS Pilani, K K Birla Campus, from 25-29 May 2026.
There will be a Mini School during May 22-24, 2026, which is designed for graduate students, early-career researchers, and professionals in soft matter, biophysics, and materials science.
