Rheology Research Symposium Application

All graduate students are invited to apply to participate in the 2026 Rheology Research Symposium

This application is for a grant to participate in the SoR Rheology Research Symposium (RRS), which will occur the weekend before the SoR meeting in Boston from Saturday morning through Sunday evening. Full participation in the RRS and attendance for the entire SoR meeting is required to receive funding to cover lodging for the duration of the RRS and Annual Meeting as well as costs associated with the RRS.

Your application responses will be evaluated using a rubric developed to evaluate the quality of your responses, your desire to learn and grow during the meeting, and your commitment to the Society of Rheology. Your research project and skills are not being evaluated.

The application review process will be blinded. Please do not include information that will identify yourself, your university, or your research group in your responses. If necessary, personally identifying information will be redacted from your answers.
