The Gallery of Rheology Contest was inaugurated in 2017, in conjunction with the regular Poster Session at the Annual Meeting. The Society of Rheology sponsors the Gallery of Rheology Contest session to highlight the visually striking aspects of research in the rhelogical community. Posters with images of deformation, flow, material structure, and other work that emphasizes visually engaging aspects of rheology are sought.

The 1st place entry of each year is featured on the cover of the Rheology Bulletin and the first place video is featured on the Art of Rheology.
