100th American Chemical Society Colloid and Surface Science Symposium

The 100th American Chemical Society Colloid and Surface Science Symposium will be held June 21–24, 2026, on the campus of the University of Delaware in Newark, DE, marking a major milestone for the ACS COLL community.

The meeting will feature integrated, thematic programming across core and emerging areas of colloid and interface science, including rheology, neutron scattering, environmental and sustainability challenges, and application-driven topics such as paints, coatings, membranes, and materials. Following the tradition of the Symposium, each day will begin with a plenary lecture, followed by parallel technical sessions and extensive poster presentations designed to foster cross-disciplinary interaction among academic, industrial, and national-lab researchers.

Social and networking events include a Sunday evening opening reception on UD’s STAR Campus, a Monday poster and networking session, and a Tuesday gala banquet at Winterthur Museum, Garden & Library, along with special sessions highlighting history, art conservation, and educational short courses. The centennial symposium aims to celebrate the rich history of colloid and surface science while showcasing its future directions and broad impact.

Contributed oral and poster abstracts are now being accepted through March 27, 2026.

The abstract submission and program details are available at the symposium website
