Rheology Venture Fund

We are seeking your ideas to support our values and mission

Do you have ideas on how we can increase our membership, bring rheology to kids, engage industry or be more inclusive? Up to $30k in funds is available, and we hope to fund two to four ventures.

4. Project Proposal

This section should not exceed 1000 words total.

4.1 Executive Summary

Provide a 1-paragraph summary of the project’s specific aims and goals, and how project will enhance SOR’s mission.

4.2 Project Description

Describe the project background, specific aims or objectives, significance and relevance, unique aspects and innovation, methodology and expected results, as appropriate. These project characteristics serve as major criteria for evaluation. (500 words)

4.3 Project outcomes, metrics of success, and timeline

Describe the expected outcomes over the course of the project, how the impact of the project will be assessed, and a rough timeline.

4.4 Impact to SOR’s mission

SoR Mission - “We aim to expand the knowledge and practice of rheology through education, partnership and collaboration with associated fields, industries, and organizations, as well as to disseminate to diverse communities what rheology is, and how it impacts humanity and the world.”
