Anne M. Grillet

Dr. Anne M. Grillet is a distinguished technical professional at Sandia National Laboratories, where she serves as a Distinguished Member of Technical Staff in the Independent Technical Assessment Group. She earned her undergraduate degree in chemical engineering from Tulane University and holds advanced degrees from Stanford University. Dr. Grillet’s research expertise lies in non-Newtonian fluid mechanics and complex materials, with a particular focus on power sources. A recognized leader in her field, Dr. Grillet is the Past-President of the Society of Rheology, having been inducted as a Fellow in 2019. She is also a Fellow of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers and serves as the Awards Co-Chair for Women in Chemical Engineering. Additionally, she is an active member of the US National Committee on Theoretical and Applied Mechanics at the National Academies. Dr. Grillet’s significant contributions and technical leadership have been acknowledged through numerous accolades, including the Prism Award from the Society of Women Engineers in 2020.
