Treasurer (Lisa Biswal)

  • Total assets $2.8M
  • Treasurer’s report has more detail in Bulletin
  • Year over year assets increasing over a 10 year period.
  • Last year: $319k revenue; $256k expenses
  • This year: we are net positive relative to budget.
  • 2026 Budget:$287k receipts, including Boston meeting; disbursements: similar to 2025. net -$57k
  • Motion to approve budget, second, approved by consent

Rheology Community Development Committee (Katie Weigandt)

  • Reported on RRS Over 60% were 4th and 5th year students.
  • Student Industry Forum returns this year.
  • New: Early career and new rheologist mentoring

Membership Report (Safa Jamali)

  • Long term decline, but an upturn this year.
  • Highest since 2019, some recovering loss

Education (Jim Gilchrist)

  • Outreach activity and Shortcourses
  • 2 shortcourses, 1 day each
  • Soliciting future shortcourses
